| 10 digit dialling in 705 area code |  |
The CRTC is going to be introducing mandatory 10-digit dialing to our area starting March 5th, 2011. As of January 15th there is a warning message advising you of these changes when you dial seven digits. This means that you will need to dial the area code plus the phone number as of that March 5th, 2011. Most alarm systems have already been programmed for 10 digit dialing.
